First, thanks for allowing anonymous and "other" comments because sometimes I'm just too lazy to log in. ;)
To answer your questions. Well, I think you already know.
Psalm 77 is my favorite passage and has been for about 2 years I think. When I was going through a very rough time God led me to this chapter. It reminded me to not just look at my current circumstances and mourn, but to remember the past, at God's grace and mercy that is so evident in my life. What it tells me is that God loves me so much that these trials are only for my good, and to bring me closer to Him. And when they are over, I can look back and be reminded of his goodness.
Hopefully that all makes sense.
Another favorite is Jeremiah 29:11, for basically the same reason. Now you gotta share yours. :)

And pretty much anything in James!!!
They are my encouraging verse =]. Also I was memorizing verses about grace b/c I was struggling with condemnation. So things like "my grace is sufficient for you" and things like that were key verses. [=
